What do you do when the entire family is in town from all over the world (literally), it's 20 degrees outside, raining, and you only have one chance to do family pictures? Well, you get creative! Oh, how I loved this session. While this family grew up in Dallas, they were currently in the process of doing a complete rebuild on their old property and starting from scratch. Although we had planned for another location, the weather forced us in a different direction. We finally decided to go back to their roots and shoot in the frame of their parents new home. Coats and Starbucks were welcome! It was such a sweet session, and proves that not every session has to be what you call "picture perfect."
Also, if you don't already know about the store Bradbury Lane in Richardson, you need to visit. It just so happens to be the beautiful lady in red's store.
You were a pleasure, Peters family!
